Before the great night ended, my BFF, BGFF and I snuck out to the rooftop.
Drinking beer, singing songs from all kinds of genres and dancing like nobody’s watching.

Did I also mention I saw 3 shooting stars on the roof the other day?
I was sooo shocked that I couldn’t make a wish on time.
But I saw another today and made one.

Pink? Definitely. Though I used to hate that colour but you can’t deny its joyfulness.

I hope there are more nights like these. <3

We went up to 8th floor.

Climbed up a pretty high ladder.
Lifted a heavy door.
AND SAW A REALLY GOOD VIEW of the sky.
If only we’d found it yesterday.
And saw the meteor shower!

Oh wells, that was fun..
Until we had to get back down.
And close the heavy door.

Today, I was asking my dad for things around the house for my art lesson. After gathering them all, I went back into my room. My dad proceeded to yell after me and told me, “Cheris, good thing you were gone, a cockroach came up and I whacked it.” He then proceeded to an epic imitation of a concussed cockroach. MLIA

It’s 6am on a sunday.
I can’t believe I’m awake.
I can’t believe I didn’t finish my assignment.
I can’t believe hotmail is lagging on me.

I can’t believe my choice last night.

Rainy night.
Corona with lemon.
Weirdest birthday text ever.
Tons of work to be done,
but zero mood.

Signs of stress are showing on my face.
Dark circles under my eyes,
Pimples popping.
Did I also mention my eyes have been swollen for almost a week?

I knew I needed a break.

I told mom I want to live off her forever.
But she wouldn’t let me.

UGHHHHH.
So many assignments, so little time.
I think I forgot how school was like.

1) Make sure you ALWAYS have your iPod/mp3 to accompany you
2) Discipline yourself to read one MLIA after every 10 mins of (real) work
3) If MLIA runs out, read FML and post on MLIA how uncool FML is.
4) Have funny friends who are unwilling to check their own school results (works best if your friend is insane)
5) Eat lots of snacks
6) Have good food for lunch
7) Find cheap thrills (eg. watching your friend make a smoke ‘O’ in a smoke ‘O’)
Bring hair clips/ hairbands to keep your hair up and yourself awake.
9) Lock yourself out of the office by not bringing your pass and your handphone.
10) Count the number of hours till your weekend (afterwards, you can count by minutes and seconds)
11) Have funny collegues who will tell you things like ‘Maybe if you print Albert Einstein’s picture and burn it to drink, you’ll be a fantastic scientist’
12) Have a lightsaber duel with your collegue with pocky (works best with sound effects and gigantic pocky sticks)
13) Speak to your files like they’re your babies (eg. ‘Oh honey, I’m so sorry but I’ve gotta rename you.)
14) Sign up at tumblr.com to read random people’s blogs
15) If desperate, go to www.cleverbot.com and have an unintelligent conversation with an artificial intelligence.

The day started gloomy.
Didn’t sleep well last night.
No nightmares, but took quite some time to fall asleep.

My job here as an intern has just became more boring.
Doing technical stuff and admin.
That was still tolerable.

By lunch I was lighthearted.
Conversations flowed even though I found plastic in my soup.

Then I received bad news from Jfat.
Poor prince passed on this morning.
Poor him.

And then, I found a mistake in my work.
No need to redo, but because of the many screens,
it still is a lot of work.

Well at least I can look forward to my spa later.
